Quartus project assignments tips

  When starting a new project in Quartus, by File / New Project Wizard, 
a few project assignments are requested.  Assignment of project files 
may be done at a later stage if needed, whilst device family and target 
device are to be specified from the outset.  For the present course lab 
it is planned to use: 

 o  Quartus 13.1 for the DE0 board, featuring:
       device family: Cyclone III
       target device: EP3C16F484C6

 o  Quartus 16.0 for the DE1-SoC board, featuring:
       device family: Cyclone V
       target device: 5CSEMA5F31C6

  Please note that the target device is to be selected from the list 
which is displayed when the device family is selected. The width of 
the first column of that list may appear insufficient to display the 
complete identifier of the target device, but it may be widened by 
dragging the thin line on the top right above the column. Anyway, 
for the DE0 board, the EP3C16F484C6 is the first out of three 
EP3C16F484.. displayed in the list.
